The short version: Your files never leave your device. We don't upload, store, or process your documents on any server. Everything runs in your browser.
1. Who we are
RightPDFKit (rightpdfkit.com) is a free browser-based PDF editor operated by The 36th Company Ltd, London, UK.
2. What data we collect
Files: Zero. Your PDF files are processed entirely within your browser using JavaScript. They are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party server. We have no technical ability to access your files.
Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 and Plausible Analytics to understand how people use the tool. This includes: pages visited, tools used, country (approximate), device type, and browser. No personally identifiable information is collected. IP addresses are anonymised.
Cookies: We use one cookie — to remember your light/dark theme preference. It is stored only in your browser's localStorage. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
3. Third-party services
• Google Analytics 4 — anonymous usage analytics. Google's privacy policy
• Plausible Analytics — privacy-first analytics, no cookies. Plausible's privacy policy
• Tesseract.js — OCR processing, loaded on demand from a CDN. Runs entirely in your browser.
4. Your rights (GDPR)

What happens to my files?
Nothing leaves your device — ever. All 52 tools run entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. There is no server. There is no upload. Open DevTools Network tab while using the app and you'll see zero file data transmitted.
How do I get my license key?
After checkout via Lemon Squeezy you'll receive a receipt email containing your license key. Paste it in the "Already have a Pro key?" box above and click Activate.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your Lemon Squeezy customer portal at any time. No questions, no friction. Your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period.
Does Pro work offline?
Yes. All tools — including Pro tools — work offline once the page has loaded. Your Pro status is stored locally in your browser.
Do I need an account?
No. Not for free tools, and not for Pro. Your license key is your identity. Paste it once, it's stored in your browser. No signup, no password, no email required.
What's the difference vs iLovePDF / Smallpdf?
